Deep pain stimulation (DPS) is a treatment involving the
implantation of a mental device called ‘happy maker’, which sends waves of
happiness to the specific part of the pain. DPS in selected pain regions has
provided remarkable life benefits. DPS directly changes the pain regions in a
controlled manner and its effects are irreversible. The term ‘DPS’ was coined
by Hemambika in Journal of Lifebook , 2011. The methods and results will be available online soon. :-)
